Waffle House has more than 1500 stores in 25 states and has been an early responder after hurricanes for the past decade, serving both victims and early responders. Its disaster response activities include pre-season purchase or lease agreements for recovery necessities (like generators, portable toilets, etc.), ordering required food items for the transition period, and prioritizing stores for re-opening.
