The 7th annual conference features plenary panels, and interactive workshops on a variety of topics related to supply chain management and logistics in global health and humanitarian response and development, as well as poster sessions on innovative research and ample opportunities for networking. The 2015 class brought together a geographically diverse group of 27 students who have lived and worked in 42 different countries, spanning across non-governmental organizations, government, private sector, academia and other organizations in the global health and humanitarian sectors.

2014-15 SENIOR DESIGN PROJECTS
HHS Center co-directors Pinar Keskinocak and Julie Swann led 3 teams of undergraduates in the Stewart School of Industrial & Systems Engineering to design systems-based solutions and economic analysis to solve health challenges.

DESIGNING A WORKFORCE ALLOCATION OPTIMIZATION TOOL
Drs. Julie Swann and Pinar Keskinocak collaborated with the Task Force for Global Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Ministry of Health in Mozambique along with former Georgia Tech students on an optimization tool for workforce allocation of healthcare professionals in Mozambique.
