Travel Info

Attendees should book air travel into Copenhagen Airport, Kastrup. This airport is the main international airport serving Copenhagen, Denmark.
Local currency is the “Kroner” (1 USD is approx. 7 DKK and 1 Euro is approx. 7.5 Danish kroner). You can pay with international cards many places in Copenhagen and often at hotels. Local time zone will be CET (Central Europe Time) UTC+2:00DST on the date of the conference.
Copenhagen summers are comfortable, with high temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to the low 70s. Still, you should pack some warm clothes to protect against cool winds, which sweep across from the Baltic Sea (even the summer sees its share of chilly breezes).
Denmark, like most other European countries, has 220-volt AC, 50Hz current and uses two-pin continental plugs.
If you visit from the UK and Ireland, you will need an adaptor for electric appliances, whereas North Americans need a transformer in order to use their 110/125V appliances | type A & B plugs. About adapters, converters and transformers.
