The American Frozen Food Institute (AFFI) and the Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) announced a new collaborative partnership with the Georgia Tech Integrated Food Chain (IFC) Center to provide programming support to the AFFI-GCCA Food Logistics Forum. Co-hosted by AFFI and GCCA, the event will be held 5-7 June 2011 at the Westin Westminster in Denver, Colorado, USA. The Food Logistics Forum brings together frozen food industry leaders from production, foodservice, retail, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to address the critical issues affecting the cold chain industry today.

The IFC Center is an industry/academic joint initiative to identify and resolve critical integration issues across the end-to-end food chain. The focus is on designing, analyzing, and continuously improving cold chains for perishable food products. The IFC Center will present an educational session at the event and will also hold council meetings and provide an overview session of the IFC center during a lunch at the Westin Westminster following the conclusion of Food Logistics Forum.
