SESSION OVERVIEW
Ishai Menache will describe how LLMs and optimization techniques are leveraged in Microsoft’s cloud supply chain to improve efficiency, provide insights to planners, and answer "what-if" questions. More broadly, Menache will discuss ongoing research and future directions in the intersection of operations research and AI.
SESSION SPEAKER
Ishai Menache is a Partner Researcher & Manager of the Machine Learning and Optimization group at Microsoft Research. With a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the Technion and postdoctoral experience at MIT, he has been with Microsoft since 2011. His research focuses on developing large-scale optimization frameworks that leverage machine learning and Generative AI technologies to improve supply chain operations.
